DIAGNOSTIC & THERAPEUTIC ENDOSCOPY TRAINING LIMITED

Accurate medical diagnosis is dependent on high quality laboratory services, imaging and endoscopy. The lack of expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy impairs the ability to accurately diagnose and successfully treat common diseases. D&TET aims to promote and disseminate the art of endoscopy throughout Nigeria, by providing the following:

• First accredited centre by the Medical & Dental Council Nigeria (MDCN) to offer CME points for training in gastrointestinal endoscopy
• Education and training of clinicians at their hospital or other place of work
• Advise on optimal staffing and reconfiguration of existing clinical areas to accommodate a functional endoscopy suite
• Promoting a multidisciplinary team approach
• Establish collaboration with reputable tertiary institutions in the United Kingdom
